Providing online therapy in Michigan for women navigating chronic illness, trauma, grief, adoption journeys, and loss.

A place where being yourself is enough.

Meet Najda Robinson-Mayer, LMSW Therapist in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Here you matter —just as you are.

You may remember a time when you felt enough, when your needs didn’t feel like a burden. Even if that feels far away now that sense of self is not gone—it can be rediscovered.

Many women come to therapy carrying a quiet longing for safety, understanding, and relief. If that resonates with you, you’re in the right place.

I help women whose life experiences have led them to feel not good enough, unworthy, sad, anxious, disconnected, checked out, numb or overwhelmed. Through therapy, we work toward creating peace, safety, and a deeper understanding of yourself—allowing you to increase your overall well-being and independence for a life that feels meaningful.

Because you are unique, our work together is individualized and tailored to your needs. I support clients in:

  • Making sense of your feelings and connections

  • Healing from past experiences

  • Strengthening independence and self-trust

  • Building tools for lasting emotional well-being

Specializing in:

Depression & Anxiety

Trauma

Epilepsy & Functional Seizures

Chronic Illness

FAQs

What is your approach to therapy?-change answer

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and tailored to you. I believe healing happens in a space where you feel seen, respected, and supported—at a pace that feels safe.

How do you tailor therapy to each client?

Every person’s story is different. Therapy is shaped by your needs, goals, and experiences rather than a one-size-fits-all model. We work together to find what feels most helpful for you.

What makes your therapy approach different?

I focus on understanding rather than fixing. Therapy with me is about building self-trust, compassion, and emotional safety—not pushing you to move faster than you’re ready.

Are you licensed to provide online therapy in Michigan?

Yes. I am licensed in Michigan and offer online therapy to women throughout the state.
