I am a therapist that specializes in working with people who have chronic illness, grief, loss and those who have experienced painful, distressing or traumatic events. More specifically I have years of experience working with patients who have Epilepsy, Psychogenic Nonepileptic Seizures/Functional Seizures (PNES/FS), Functional Neurologic Disorders and those who have been adopted. These life experiences can leave you feeling that you are not good enough, are unworthy, scared, sad and anxious. I help women find peace and safety through processing difficult life experiences. In order to gain a better understanding of themselves, increase their quality of life and independence, which allows them to build meaningful relationships.

I am a clinical social worker with 20 years of experience. I earned my Master Degree from the University of Michigan. I have spent the last 13 years working in a medical environment. I am well-versed in a variety of evidence-based interventions including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Client Centered Therapy and Brief Psychotherapeutic.
